Tesla Reaches Out Of Court Settle In Norway For Massive Overstatement Of Power
Tesla Motors has reached an out-of-court settlement with the 126 Norwegian customers who claimed their vehicles delivered 469 HP (475 PS) instead of the official 691 HP (700 PS). Lawyers for the owners and Tesla's own litigators stated that they wanted to withdraw the case in a joint letter to the Oslo District Court, a case that was due to start on Monday.

This was total BS. The important metric is performance, they quoted a 0-100 km/h of 3.3 seconds, P85D owners actually got 3.1 seconds. The 691hp figure is adding both the front and rear motors together. They did the same thing in the US and no one complained.

Anyway, problem solved--Tesla is no longer stating any horsepower figures on any of their cars... just the 0-100/0-60, which is the metric that actually matters.
