Obama Adminstration Wants To Pass Rule Requiring Car To Car Communication Before Trump Takes Over

The Obama administration is moving in its final days to require automakers to ensure that cars can “talk” to each other and eventually communicate with their surrounding infrastructure. The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration is proposing a new rule that would require automakers to include Vehicle-to-Vehicle communication technologies —or “V2V” — on all their new light-duty vehicles. The agency said the Federal Highway Administration also is planning to soon issue guidance for Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communications, which involves cars talking to their surroundings, including roads and traffic lights.

Just as I have predicted - the beginnings of the government being able to control the cars on the road from the road signs - eliminating speeding - fast accelerations - tailgating - and any enjoyment of driving!

Sorry - but most of these government agencies that YOU rail against were formed under republican Presidents - in this case - along with the EPA - they were formed under Richard Nixon -and if ever there really was a fascist president - it was HIM.

But then - Obeying the law - such as speed limits - certainly is not something that every gun-toting racist conservative ever believes in - even though THESE laws go back to before the country was started - and affected Horse drawn vehicles. Obama had nothing to do with speed limits. My point was - once the government sees that it has the ability to PROTECT the people by enforcing speed limits ELECTRONICALLY - do you really think they are not going to do it - no matter who is in charge - after all - you are only preventing someone from breaking the law!
