My Jetta has a dented rear passenger door, as well as some other issues with the car. But it still runs, and that's the condition is it being returned in 2 weeks from now. I don't feel the need to "get back" at VW, because while what they did was wrong and underhanded, the current NOx emissions requirement is beyond what is necessary for cleaner air. The only reason my Passat is going back is because the cash offer is too good to pass up. There's no way I would strip either of them before my scheduled appointment.
