Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 – New Model, New Colors
The Ford Mustang is ready for a mid-cycle revision for the 2018MY. As far as we know, the front and rear bumpers will be redesigned, and Ford will also add a 10-speed automatic transmission as an option. In addition, the new range-topping car, that might even arrive as a 2017 MY, is being developed and it is expected to revive the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 moniker.

Although the new top trim will come soon, according to a leak that appeared in November, the production of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 will continue, and we will see the new 2018 model for sure. However, as Mustang6G wrote, the new Shelby GT350 would skip the mid-cycle revision, but the new colors would be available for the customers to choose from.

The reason the GT350 isn't getting the new look right away is that it's nose is bespoke and not identical to the garden variety Mustangs. Give it a year.

Any car that comes stock with carbon fiber wheels is pretty incredible. I also can't see any car company producing any more V8 powered engines beyond 2020, so this may be the last generation of awesome collectible old school pony cars, whether from Ford, Chevy or Dodge.
