It makes perfect sense to me. Some people are just asses who want to take advantage of a situation.

Take advantage... Seriously... When I took my car in yesterday the guy told me that mileage was the only thing that affected the buyback. I lost 3k because I actually drove my 2010 A3 everywhere. I only took out my other cars on the weekend if that. They are the ones getting over. If my car is beat up, I get the same money but since I had 114k miles on my 2010, it cost me cash. I only removed everything that wasn't bolted down which isn't much. VW got over... And I was told that they are putting blue tec tanks on the cars and going to resale them. I didn't think that was happening but he said it was. My car was in perfect condition except the NAV stopping reading DVD's but still played CD's.

I hate VW--IKR surprise--but I stand with VW on this. I'd love for these owners to lose their cars and the payout.
