Trump Causes More Automakers To Pause Plans To Move Jobs Away From US

The presidents of Toyota Motor Corp. and Honda Motor Co. said they have no immediate plans to curb production in Mexico, preferring to wait until after Donald Trump's inauguration as U.S. president this month before deciding whether to make any changes.

Automakers in the U.S. have been slammed by Trump for building cars in lower-cost factories south of the border, which he said costs American jobs. Pressure to curb that production intensified this week after Ford Motor Co. scrapped plans to build a $1.6 billion assembly plant in Mexico after Trump harshly criticized the investment.

As the Ford chairman stated emphatically, Trump had nothing to do with their decision. it was strictly dollars and cents. Trump should heed his own words and stop importing his own crappy and tasteless merchandise from abroad.

....and Trump just eliminated 10,000 jobs at Macy's here in America. Remember that call for a boycott against Macy's last month? Looks like it worked. Trump just cost 10,000 their jobs as Macy's announced 10,000 layoffs today and over 60 stores closing. If Trump wants to take credit for creating jobs because of his Tweets, he certainly can take the blame for his Tweets against American jobs too.

RockRied:

Macy's is laying off 10,000 employees due to 7 straight quarterly losses in a row which would put the trouble very squarely on the Obama administrations shoulders if you are going to blame a president for this. Macy's had already closed 40 stores before the election and as of Nov. 10th financial reporting to the stock holders they where in the process of finalizing another 100 closures. So how is this Donald Trumps fault. You appear to be reporting things that happened under the Obama administrations time at the helm as the President elects fault. Remember he is still not even the President and all that is happening is still happening under the President that the media and liberal world seem to love and feel can do no wrong. Please do your research and be sure what you are stating is fact rather than fiction.

Trump wants credit for the Stock Market rally all this time and Obama is still in office. Let Trump also have the layoffs too while you're at it. Looks like Trump is in the hole big time as far as number for jobs gained/lost since his election. The era of Trump jobs has already begun, and Macy's 10,000 job loss since Trump's tweets expressly calling for a boycott of a major American employer is just his latest in a string of treasonous actions.

Look up the word treason, little boy. You are clueless as to what it means. And, yes, you'll no doubt write an essay response that I shan't bother reading. The Alt-Left is just so angry, bullying, and hateful. Perhaps you need to buy Milo's book "Dangerous" so you can remove your head from Pelosi's asshole.

An ironic statement perfectly describing Meth-head Mattie, but he is for too stupid to comprehend this. Grew up a play yard bully, and has never moved on. Living off his father-in-laws money with his head buried up Trumps asshole.

Little penis Mattie lives in the Bakersfield, which also is the Meth capital of the US, it is any wonder his gray matter burned up long ago:

It's comical watching many on the left struggle with the fact that we are going to have a POTUS that has executive leadership experience and knows how to get results. We have just spent the past 8 years with a POTUS that had zero executive experience before becoming POTUS, and it has shown domestically and abroad.

Now as it relates to job gains and losses, some have nothing to do with Trump or Obama, but others do. When IBM announced they were adding jobs, that was already in the works. But with Carrier and Ford, they both cited Trump as a reason for their decision to invest in US jobs. Ford's CEO Mike Fields specifically stated that the positive pro-growth business environment that Trump will create is the reason they chose to invest in US jobs.
