Telsa's Musk Clears The Way To Become Donald Trump's Number One Fan

Tesla CEO Elon Musk got closer to President-elect Donald Trump since the election, a move that was welcomed by people concerned about climate change considering Musk’s mission to address the issue and Trump being dismissive of even the existence of the problem.

Musk has since joined Trump’s Strategic and Policy Forum and he attended a meeting with the President-elect last month alongside several other tech executives – pictured above.

During an event with investors at the Gigafactory in Nevada this week, Musk described his takeaway from the meeting and it looks somewhat encouraging for the clean tech industry.

I wrote this about a month ago on the topic of Musk wanting to meet Trump (before the Tech Executive meeting with Trump)

"For a narcissistic Trump, it's easy to handle him with a token shower of praise. Trump is as smart as a street vendor, Musk should not give him any BS. However, Trump seems to be fascinated with people with big words and big title - a polished PPT presentation with lots of pictures would do the trick."

In reality, under Trump, Musk is likely to be much more unfettered by regulations. Must arrived at the right time for Obama to give him "free money" to start a business and then to have a President that won't run him out of business once he is successful like a Democrat would.

Tesla was founded in 2003, the Roadster came out in 2008. The Model S was already in development at that time and was unveiled Mar 2009. Obama sworn in when ?

If a President must be given credit for Tesla's success, it should be Bush then. But that wouldn't fit your theory.

So by end of 2017 when the Model 3 comes out and officially smashes its competition - ICE or no ICE, you'll give credit to Trump ?

FYI, I am never a Democrat nor a liberal- I just despise Trump for what he is. So don't try to apply any label to me, it won't work.
