Driver reunited with BMW after losing it in city centre car park SIX MONTHS ago

A driver who lost their BMW in a multi-storey car park SIX MONTHS ago, has finally been reunited with it.

Back in June, a friend of the owner borrowed the car and drove down from Scotland to go to a Stone Roses concert at the Etihad Stadium.
They parked in a city centre car park, but after the gig – perhaps due to all the excitement – forgot which one they had left it in.

They then spent the next few days fruitlessly searching for the vehicle in various car parks, but gave up after day five.

Now for the rest of the story...24 year old male from Dubai, borrows Dubai friend's sister's BMW to drive to soccer match, so as not to bang up his Ferrari in the local arena car park.

Dubai male gets drunk at game, takes $1,450 (GBP 1,200) Uber back to his flat in Scotland, 300 miles away, flies back to Dubai two weeks later.

Friends sister returns from her 4th home in Beverly Hills, back to her 3rd home in Scotland, 6 months later, and asked dopey brother (now back in Dubai) where her BMW is.

Dubai brother says, ohh sh*t sis, I think we got drunk after the soccer match 6 months ago, couldn't find it and took an Uber home. I was so drunk I forgot.

Dubai sister calls her uncle the Emir, who calls Scotland Yard agent he has on retainer, who spends 15 minutes and finds the car, now with a dead battery.

Whew. Thank goodness Autospies brought us this news, otherwise I'm not sure I EVER would have been able to sleep not knowing if the BMW and its owner ever got back together.
