The GREAT Debate: What Are The Top Three UGLIEST Premium Vehicles On The Market, Today?

It's truly amazing how the automotive kingdom has brought forth a slew of all-new models. Literally, there's more niches than ever and just about everything you can imagine is for sale.

Well, with exception of Homer Simpson's truly dreadful creation.

While I like to think that things are getting better all the time, that's not how it always appears. Take, for example, the latest automotive designs. I think one could argue, with success, that the latest and greatest designs today are not their best.

In fact, ugly is in.

That said, I am a wee bit curious: WHICH three premium vehicles do YOU consider the UGLIEST on the U.S. market?

Is Lexus a premium vehicle? If so, they get my vote. The whole lotta them. Their styling makes me wonder, "What were they thinking?"

Mind you, if you like Lexus, I'm happy for you. It's just not pretty to *MY* eyes.

By your reckoning then, Audi isn't a premium mker as most of its models are based on VW/Skoda platform, more so than Lexus to Toyota.

#1. Lexus RX350 / RX400h
#2. BMW X4
#3. BMW X1

Yeah - I know, the X1 is a BMW loss leader, but it just looks goofy - not masculine enough to be a "suv" and too bloated to be decent looking station wagon.

#1 far and away is the Lexus RX350. It is the worst design for this decade easily.

After that, I would say the Mercedes GLC coupe and then the Infiniti QX30.

I thought the FX45/50 was absolutely the cheekiest turd on the road. And then I test-drove one. Crazy azz exterior design, my kids thought it looked "angry". I owned a loaded '03 FX45 - it was raw & powerful & graceful....for the vehicle it was. It was capable in all weather conditions (dry, rain, snow). I never really needed the full cargo space - I just liked the "sportiness" of the design. It wasn't pretty & the fact that everybody hated it (even my wife) was probably what made me like it more.

I drove the FX45 back in '03 off a dealer lot, it was crazy fast and fun - but good lord getting in and out of the thing and having people see you in it - couldn't imagine.

And then I became friends with someone who had one, so when he drove I had to face getting in and out of it, and the sad thing was that his was a the V6, not the V8. So ugly car with NO PERFORMANCE.

INFINITI QX80 ugliest SUV ever, looks like its from the Flintstones or Wacky Racers. All Lexus SUV's (transformer look is so bad), yes any BMW GT ( wtf ???),
Bentayga and MB GLE coupe ( a walk around shows odd dimensions ), anything designed in China of course

You people are not even close - the very worst looking Luxury Vehicle is the Chinese Hongqi L5 - hands down. Lexus is not in the top premium class - neither is Audi or Infiniti - or Tesla.
