Outgoing NHTSA Executive Fears US Automakers May Lose Focus On Safety Under Trump
The outgoing head of the government agency charged with keeping highways safe is worried that auto safety won’t be a priority for the incoming Trump administration.

Mark Rosekind, who leaves his job leading the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Friday, said during an interview with the Associated Press the agency has taken steps to modernize and change its relationship with automakers so they try to stop problems rather than reacting to deaths and injuries.

Rosekind: What a ridiculous premise. Trump is making business/manufacturing possible, profitable and creating jobs. Trump is not damaging the focus or the safety goals of auto companies. Rosekind speaks like a typical defamatory liberal.

For what it's worth, the photo in this article (Chevy Spark) is from the IIHS and not the NHTSA. I don't think the NHTSA has the equipment or infrastructure to take such high quality images like the one in this article. They need some major camera and lighting upgrades in their facility.
