If the new BMW X3 looks just like the current X3, which is exactly what happened with the new 7-Series (which saw its sales collapse 35% in January 2017) BMW will be in for a rude awakening.

Last year the X3 was the only BMW SUV that did not see a double-digit sales decline for the year. If the new X3 looks just like the existing model, buyers may not get the new model given that the existing one is so similar.


At least with Audi the new Q5 has a significantly improved interior and technology options compared to the existing Q5.
