You read all about it yesterday as Ford introduced the aluminum bodied Expedition in the king of SUV country Dallas Texas.  And here it is TODAY The big daddy of all SUVs live from the Chicago Auto Show a full day EARLY! Frankly the competition still hasn’t caught up with the aluminum F-150, and Ford strikes another blow to the chest with an aluminum Expedition?  Yeah we can say that this one will lead the class for quite sometime while the others will scramble to catch up.

When the public sees this, they will made deposits at dealers. From the appearance of things, Ford did everything right. This--like the Tahoe/Yukon twins--will be easy sales.

Ford is basically America's Mercedes Benz - quality, innovation, styling, detailing, interiors - its got it - Except at a much better price-value relationship. It makes me proud to be an American.

We have a mix of cars (one domestic three foreign) in our house - my 14 year old son is aspiring to a Ford F150 when he gets his license. He printed out the configuration for me. I teared up!

The exterior of this vehicle looks awesome for a full size SUV. It's difficult to make a full size SUV look good in my opinion, but Ford did a really nice job.

They claim that the New one weighs 300 pounds less due to the aluminum - However - that still makes it about 200 pounds more than a Chevy Tahoe.
