2018 Buick Regal Leaks Ahead Of Chinese Debut
The first images and details of China's 2018 Buick Regal sedan have surfaced online showing a vehicle that apart from its badges and grille, looks just as expected.

Joining the new Opel/Vauxhall Insignia and Holden Commodore, the Buick Regal adopts the same sleek design as its siblings but has been fitted with different badges and Buick's customary waterfall grille. Although few specifics about the Chinese version are known, we don't expect the U.S. version to look any different.

Handsome, but predictable.

Dull and dated looking. This would have been spot on for model year 2005, but not 2018.

Great looking and the wagon will be even better. This is a proof point that GM shouldn't be selling off their European assets where this design came from. Ford sells Volvo to the Chinese and now Volvo builds great cars while Ford struggles with domestic mindset Lincolns. There's much to be gained for domestic manufacturers to maintain a strong presence in Europe.

Europe simply is a declining market and divesting is smart IF GM doubles down on the US and China.

As for Volvo, the Geelys that they really are come with some terrible compromises. The harsh turbo engine being one of those criticisms.
