Spy Shots: BMW 3-Series convertible

Some of the clearest images of the 3-series cabrio were released late yesterday and by all outward appearances, there doesn't seem to be much left to hide, save the taillights and windows.

It's safe to assume that the same engines available on current coupes will find their way into the folding hard top version, including the new 3-liter turbo. However, rumors have begun to circulate that when the M3 debuts, a convertible will not be an option. Shots after the Jump

Very nice picture this convertible looks good. I saw one of the Volvos the other day with the same hard top convertible and it looks nice.

Why are these pictures still going around, the final car was caught in a photo session in Lisbon so it's already possible to know how it will be! The long trunk in the coupe is easy to explain after seeing the Cabrio!

Very, very nice.

Just not *quite* as fluid as the new coupé.
