SPIED + VIDEO: Is Mercedes-AMG Working On An E43 ALL TERRAIN? FIRST Clip Here!
If you weren't paying attention lately, you may have missed this. Mercedes-Benz introduced the E-Class Wagon.

But, that's not all it did.

The three-pointed star also unveiled an all-new model called the All Terrain. Think of as an E-Class that was given the Subaru Forester treatment. That means it has beefed up fenders and is a bit more jacked up than your standard, run-of-the-mill E-Class Wagon.

It seems like Mercedes-AMG may be getting involved though. That's because what appears to be an All Terrain wagon was spotted looking like it had some E43 characteristics. Note the upgraded exhaust tips, fender flares, beefier tires. This has driven speculation that an E43 All Terrain may be on the way.

What say you, Spies?

Wird es eine Mercedes- AMG-Variante der "E-Klasse All Terrain" geben ?

Will there be a Mercedes-AMG version of the "E-Class All Terrain"?

To borrow the words of Myers Jackson, an E Class All-Terrain will be "Sold! Sold! Sold!" as soon as it hits the dealer.

I love that Benz is having fun with mixing and matching models/powertrains again, Now all I need is an AMG sprinter just because and I'm good!

For years I always had station wagons and really did not like SUVs that much - but what is essentially a 4x4 Station wagon would end up in my driveway

As far as the AMG sprinter - That would certainly be MY van of choice as well.

I don't believe Subaru is concerned or worried.

You are correct. The people who want a Super Beetle engine that develops valve train clatter at 75k miles and leaks on the garage floor coupled with odd styling is a well-defined group. But more importantly, they can't afford a Mercedes anyway.

Maybe it's an move potent version with AWD. Possibly Merc-AMG E63 S 4Motion. Looks good - more pronounced wheelwell arches (?) with the wider rubber would amp that mean aggressive motif. I'd check the box on that $15k option. lol.
