Lexus' sales numbers are a bit surprising, especially considering how strongly they came on last year. At this rate, they may be wrestling with Audi and Infiniti for 3rd place behind Benz and BMW. Is this possibly a result of trendy styling wearing its welcome?

I agreed, Lexus' numbers are very surprising, I wonder if their 2nd consecutive months of record on L/Certified sales hurts them.

I think Lexus still on a hunt for #2 with BMW, MB is out of reach (too early this year for MB/BMW/Lexus). Audi and Infiniti are still way behind (yes, closer than ever), but they are not a thread to Lexus, yet.

I don't find it surprising at all. I've always loved Lexus reliability, BUT their AWFUL designs on the front clip (nose) of all their vehicles has quickly worn out it's welcome.

This is surprising...I wonder what is going on at Lexus, they have been pretty consistent at maintaining sales volume recently. Lexus claims that the drop is due to low inventory of SUVs...I guess well see over the next couple months if this is true.

That might be true, but their volumes are down in sedans. Even the golden-child ES is significantly down. and I'd beg to call them out considering how many RX's and NX's are on the new-car lot at the Lexus dealership a mile away from me.
