BREAK OUT THE DEPOSITS! Wrangler Pickup Due In 2019
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV plans to begin producing a Jeep Wrangler-based pickup truck in late 2019, the head of the Jeep brand said.

That truck does not have a name yet, but Jeep head Mike Manley and Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne are considering some historical Jeep names.

The last pickup sold by Jeep was the Comanche. It was produced from the 1985 through the 1992 model years, when the company discontinued it to focus on a Dodge Dakota pickup (the Dakota was discontinued in 2011). Before that, the Willys Jeep Truck was built from 1947 through 1965, followed by the Jeep Gladiator full-size pickup from 1962 to 1971 and the J-Series from 1971 to 1988.

yeah....thats if FCA is still around! I'm sure Jeep is their only valuable asset that can be sold to a Chinese/Indian company. But, the DNA of Jeep is build capable 4x4 Wranglers-(WHEN WORKING), but don't keep it beyond the warrranty or your pay with your retirement to keep it running pass 65K miles! tick-tock-tick-tock. but, this is what you get when dna of a pos American auto joins a bigger pos Fiat Italian co. If Benz couldn't rescue Chrysler....no way in hell FIAT could!

Even if FCA folds, Hyundai-Kia won't let Jeep die. LOL

Benz wasn't trying to rescue Chrysler. Benz bought Chrysler to siphon off profits to fund Benz products. Benz was in a very precarious state when it bought Chrysler. It cash raped Chrysler and spit out the carcass much like Fiat is doing now.

Jeep and Ram will be sold along with Chrysler and Dodge to someone like Hyundai-Kia who will have the onus of killing Chrysler and Dodge.
