#GIMS2017: SKETCHED OUT! Mercedes-AMG Prepares Us ALL For An All-New Four-Door Coupe
And now for something completely different.

Mercedes-Benz decided to tease, well, the world with an all-new vehicle slated for a 2017 Geneva Motor Show debut. All signs point to an AMG GT four-door coupe.

This, to me, is funny because I remember when the GT first made its public appearance. It was only days before some Photoshop experts started toying with the idea of an AMG GT four-door.

Well, here it is!

While we've only got one image of the to be named vehicle, it looks like an Audi A7 went to bed with the halo Mercedes-AMG.

What do YOU make of it, Spies?

Bar of soap design. Maybe it's just the color, but the ass end looks too big and in your face sorta like Kim Kar-trashian.

I highly doubt that Mercedes is going to produce ANYTHING like this "sketch"

New head of design at M-B has developed a new approach that calls for a
simple, elegant style with no cut lines...like the one shown here. The first production car under his leadership is the new E class which from the front and side reflects this smooth free flowing look. Found my self this week staring and admiring the hood on the new e class...from the front it looks like it was poured on the car. Very sophisticated.

WTF are you talking about? That is a bunch of BS, considering that Gorden Wagener has been design director Daimler AG since June 2008 and he's not going anywhere.

Do you really even know what you're talking about? Why do some of you have the audacity to ignorantly mislead other people with unnecessary misinformation.

I am not surprised that BobM is dumb enough to fall for that BS information, considering that design chief Wagener has been in that role for nearly 9 years and his first production designs were the W222 S-Class and partly W176 A-Class.

The latest W213 E-Class is NOT the first production MB design under Wagener and far from it.

The bigoted trash that BobM is, just found it so necessary to attack Asians for how Mercedes-Benz chose to formulate their design philosophy. The fact PUGPROUD is clueless about what actually takes place there, doesn't make it true that Daimler AG has a new design director.

The same guy that gave you those "cartoonish" designs is not deviating much from the successful Sensual Purity design language, so get over it. Try to have some facts behind your statements in order to have actual credibility and not have them merely be peanut gallery fallacies.

@Carmaker1, first of all, I don't think the original comment requires such heated response.
And secondly, Wagener only recently became design chief, though he has been promoted through leading roles since around 2009 or so.
And finally, what PUGPROUD stated in the original comment is from Wagener's own comments in interviews regarding MB's new design philosophy; I don't think he was the design chief for the previous (overwrought) design language, though if he were, he certainly turned it around.

It's not far off from this rendering, which looks more than feasible. Can't wait to see the actual car.
