Roborace unveils world's first autonomous electric race car

Roborace has officially unveiled the world's first driverless electric racing car — "The Robocar" — live on stage at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

Roborace CEO Denis Sverdlov, alongside Daniel Simon, Roborace Chief Design Officer, unveiled the futuristic car on stage during a keynote address on the evolution of autonomous vehicles.

Roborace’s aim is to be a platform for the world’s best engineers to advance the software that will change the world's roads.

This may very well be the future. No more drivers with big egos to pay big salaries will likely result in one of two outcomes. More fan emphasis on brands instead of drivers or celebrity programers replacing drivers getting fan attention and bigger bucks. Nevertheless these driver less cars are just a step toward thinking machines replacing us all one day as the master species.
