VIDEO: NAME and SHAME — Consumer Reports Lets Loose On The Top 10 WORST Vehicles
We're big fans of naming and shaming. While many would claim we're just doing it to be controversial, we do it because just as we name our top picks we think it's important to name the worst.

For buyers not looking to make a mistake, it helps to call a spade just what it is.

It turns out we're not the only ones. Huzzah! Our friends at Consumer Reports decided to spell it out for new car buyers. These are the top 10 vehicles to stay away from if you're looking at snapping up a new set of wheels.

Are YOU surprised by any of CR's picks? Also, would YOU make any top 10 WORST suggestions the publication may have missed?

Knowing what not to buy can be as useful as knowing what to buy. That's why each year we highlight the cars that have the lowest overall scores in our testing in 10 categories. Check out our Top 10 Car Picks for help in figuring out which car to buy.

Tacoma? Poor reliability? YIKES

Ghibli makes sense as a turd give that it's a Chrysler 300.

We're actually quite pleased with our Escalade.

Escalade - the vehicle of choice for the obese ghetto lot.

But at least their welfare checks from their 4 baby daddies knocking them up pays the payment.

Tacoma most years have highest reliability, new model '16 is low. All based on owner survey results. Toyota likely will have the problems worked out and fixed under warranty. Road test results have consistently been low for the category.

If Ford does a great job with the Expedition and especially the Lincoln Navigator, they will clean up.

Basically, the Escalade sucks - its yesterday's technology today. People are dying for a similarly 'blingy' product.

You clearly have not driven an Escalade back to back with a Navigator. The Navigator feels like the two-decade old truck that much of the architecture is under the styling. The Expedition/Navigator have to have an exorcism just to catch up to the Tahoe/Suburban/Escalade/Yukon. Yes, the new model will sell better but only because the old model is driving people from Ford lots.

As for the Escalade sucking, go live with one. You'll feel guilty that you are smitten with such a large and comfortable vehicle.

Ir will not be easy for Ford to take significant market share from GM in the full size SUV market. GM has owned this segment for many years, it will take 2-3 generations of superior product to change this...especially in the truck segment.
