#GIMS2017: Aston Martin Dubs New Hypercar As The Valkyrie

Aston Martin Valkyrie is the official name given to the brand's hotly anticipated V12 hypercar model. The name stems from Norse mythology and translates to ‘chooser of the slain’.

Up until now the car had been referred to by its internal name AM-RB 001. Aston Martin chose Valkyrie, the name of a type of God that Nordics believed chose who lived or died, to signify the car’s role as being its most potent product yet.

Not a real car in my view. Just a track monster that is little more than an F1 car with a carbon ski. Do you see a bumper structure? The Koenigsegg One:1 is a road legal car that has reached the 1:1 one hp per tonne ratio. That has to be seen as more of an achievement than this new Aston.
