DC designed Rolls Royce Coupe

DC designed Rolls Royce Coupe
After the huge response we experienced with the DC Design three-door Cayenne, we thought it’d be a good idea to put up some new images of one of the design company’s previous “masterpieces”, a Rolls Royce inspired coupe. Official details are scarce, but we believe the car is based on the original RR Silver Spirit saloon and created for an owner whose design brief was to build a Rolls Royce that would shock anyone who looked at it. The exterior has obviously been heavily modified with an eye to Nissan’s 350z, but it also looks like the interior has undergone cosmetic surgery.

Real life images of the vehicle caught outside a top London hotel were posted earlier this year by UK’s Auto Express, but these new images reveal much greater detail. The real life images show a vehicle that doesn’t match the glamour of these studio shots and comments from those who’ve seen the pictures range from “what a beautiful coupe” to “it makes me want to barf.” We especially like the gullwing style doors and new light clusters. If you can’t wait for the new RR coupe that’s due for production next year, you could always contact India’s DC Design to build you one now. What do you think - lovely or ugly?

That car is awful looking! I would rather catch a cab than get a ride home in that POS.

It's nice in an ulgy way if that makes any sense. Yeah the rear arch looks like the 350Z but the front end resembles the Phantom but not the lights.

First some info about DC,Dilip Chhabria.
He is listed as one of the top-ten car designers in the world.His most recent work was a 2006 Mercedes S350 that was stretched into a limo with a glass centered and a porsche cayenne two-door SUV.

And btw i met him persoanlly at a small event IN DUBAI where he represented his the-then latest creation a Modified 1999 Toyota Land CRUISER.At that time i remember he siad that

"THE CHASIS OF THE VEHICLE IS COMPLELTLY UNTOUCHED,BUT THE ENTIRE BODY WAS TAKEN APART AND REBUILT.THE VEHICLE IS MEANT TO HAVE A MIX OF THE HUMMER,RANGE ROVER AND LAND CRUISER"

HE ALSO SAID THAT HIS PLANS WERE TO MAKE IT INTO A TWO-SEATER TRUCK LIKE THE CHEVY SSR.BUT HE ANTICIPATED REGISTRING PROBLEMS.THE CAR IS NOW REGISTRED IN DUBAI.

I think now everybody got that what type of a modification/designs he create.He always mix many cars into one.

This type of creation(above) is not very unusuall or rare when it comes to DC Designs.

JUGNU----->THE CARMAN

Except, Rolls isn't bought for no reason any more. People know that Bentley makes much better cars now, and that's what's being bought over Bentley or Maybach, like 10 to 1.

I rather have a Phantom over a Flying Spur or a Maybach. Something about it's looks that screams exclusivity. But Bentley's are awesome too as well as the ultra-exclusive Maybach's.

That almost looks as ugly as the new Skyline GTR concept!!!I also think that the current Rolls Royce and the Maybach are ugly,I mean for that much money you would think that the design would be better!!!

i actually saw one of these driving down the road a few weeks ago near the Ace Cafe in London. up close it is a good looking car, but the rims on it dont suit a rolls royce at all.

but it was a rare treat to see it, even if it was for less than 30 seconds....
