Porsche's Mission E To Become A FAMILY Of Vehicles
The upcoming Porsche Mission E will be sold in a number of different model variants with differing power outputs in a move mirroring that of the German car maker’s more traditional combustion engine models, company chairman Oliver Blume has said.
Set to become the first fully electric Porsche production model when it goes on sale towards the end of 2019, the new four-seater will also feature state-of-the-art electronics permitting over-the-air updates to key systems such as the driveline and autonomous driving functions.

Sounds like a serious attempt at EV - only if Porsche finds a way to make them "affordable", as in the range between $100K to $200K. However, Audi and VW can mop the floor with lower price offerings.
The EV field is getting more interesting and is accelerating.

+1, and agreed.
I just hope that an EV Porsche does not mean one with goofy styling.

It could easily just become a 2019 or 2020 Panamera. At some point the top models will no longer be ICE but electric.

I am all for the electrification of cars and the electrocution of but-hurt libtard snowflakes suffering from TWDS (Trump Won Derangement Syndrome). I am joking of course but not about electric cars.
Coming soon will be the Porsche Mission Touring PMT as you can't call it a station wagon and the Porsche Mass Ass Transport PMAT because the Deutsche don't make minivans or SUV's (Cayenne the "Schport Activity Vehicle").
Whatever lipstick you put on a pig... -I welcome innovative new trickle down tech for the gooderment (my word) of moving our asses around in a more efficient and responsible way regardless if it is ICE, H20, electric or powered by rainbow albino unicorns.
