It Seems Apple May Still Be Working On a Self Driving Car

Apple may have left another clue that its self-driving car project is still alive.

In February, the tech giant published a list of suppliers it is working with, including Robert Bosch. Apple lists Bosch’s office in Reutlingen, Germany, which houses the supplier's automotive electronics division.

 

A spokesman for Apple declined to comment on the relationship and a spokesman for Bosch did not respond to a request for comment.

1. Rumors start that Apple is making an autonomous car.
2. With nothing to show for the rumors, rumors say production has been delayed.
3. With nothing to show for the rumors, rumors say the project has been canceled.
4. Apple criticized for taking on such a monumental undertaking and failing, even though there has never been anything to show they're actually developing an autonomous car.

I thought thought that was all pretty funny how people embraced rumors as facts. So here we are again. Are we back at #1, or adding #5?

They were definitely developing an EV, it was the worst kept secret in Silicon Valley. They cut the staff in half and everyone assumed Project Titan was dead. It will be interesting to see if they really do bring it back.
