Genesis G90 Special Edition Revealed In Seoul Doing Maybach Impression
Genesis, the South Korean luxury brand in Hyundai’s portfolio, has revealed its first-ever special edition model. The G90 Special Edition has made its official debut at the 2017 Seoul Motor Show. While being dubbed as a production model, the car is still not available for orders and will be used for promotional activities around the world.

The vehicle is based on the flagship trim level with 5.0-liter V8 engine and features bespoke colors never used before by Hyundai and Genesis. Each produced example will have two-paint color scheme, made to “express the personality and splendor of the car.”

It's almost offensive how this company just rips from other companies. Rolls Royce execs are probably just rolling their eyes at this point.

Always liked the 2-tone paint. The Maybach didn't do it justice as that car was just plain ugly. This car isn't what I'd call pretty nor does the paint scheme compliment it. Lots of custom car designers do 2 tone's and they look fabulous and in the 50's there were 2 and 3 tone cars. This could be a luxury option that could set "the right car" apart from competitors.

There's nothing wrong with being who you are, but when you're Hyundai with a Rolls-Royce paintjob, it's sort of like the guy at the office who wears a Rolex knock-off and makes a big show of it. It's cringe-worthy.

Actually they're worse, right down to copying body styles as much as they are physically able.

I am normally a fan of Hyundai, but this has to be one of the ugliest cars I have ever seen. I don't think its a smart idea to take a car that they want to be taken seriously, and ugly it up this way

"why do you care?" Probably the same reason as you when you spout off on every subject under the sky as a loudmouth dumbf..k expert.

I've always admired Korean design on my trips there - yes, I see influence of other companies / countries, but they seem to make it their own with an interesting combination of modern and retro. I like it.
