Spyker C8 Spyder Police Car

As you can know it is now in fashion for supercars to become police cars. In Italy there is a Lamborghini Gallardo as a police car, in Germany a Porsche 911 Carrera S customized by TechArt.

Now Netherlands is on the list too as Spyker created a C8 Spyder supercars for the Frevoland police. The price for the cars was arround $340000 (arround $425000).

Why would they need it?If atall than go for some rigid bodied,tough looking high performance GTs,that would make a bit sense.Example BMW M6

BTW,is it a gift from the automaker?
I remember Gallardo was.

@Jungu, As far as I know the Dutch highway patrol already has two RS4's.
This spyker is just for promotion on the annual police day. It won't be used as a police car.

Btw: the Spyker looks a lot classier in its normal colors

It has an Audi engine! Go technik!

That's a beauty in dark colors, and has a stunning interior. Not to some people's tastes, but I love the retro/tech mix that this car manages to pull off.

It looks better than the 6 Series and the SC, yes. I think this, the SL and the XK are about even on looks.
