BREAKING: 13 Injured As Speeding Car Rams Through Pedestrians In NYC Times Square
A speeding car crashed into pedestrians on a sidewalk in New York City's busy Times Square on Thursday, causing multiple injuries, witnesses said.

Thirteen people were treated for injuries, the New York Fire Department said on Twitter.

The New York Police Department closed off the area.

A Reuters witness said at least 10 people were being treated for injuries on the ground after the collision around noon ET (1600 GMT) at the Midtown Manhattan tourist site.

It really is time for the USA to adopt a cruel punishment penalty for heinous acts such as this.

He didn't lose control of his vehicle. He purposefully drove around traffic and oriented his vehicle for the attack. Then he punched the accelerator.
