BMW Nabs Top Two Spots In Most Likely To Be Wrecked Study
Not to be alarmist, but by the time you finish reading this sentence, a crash will have already taken place somewhere within the US and another will nearly be complete. By the end of this 24 hour cycle, a total of 27,000 will have taken place, and though statistics like this paint a bleak yet broad image, the spread of accidents by time, region, or even vehicle is not as black and white. Wikilender, has put together a list of the top ten cars that are typically involved in crashes to prove that to us. To compile the list, it began by focusing on cars made in 2009 and later.

All premium brands; bad drivers, too much performance, distraction from tech interfaces, better than trade-in?

Well my unscientific survey (just observing what I see on a daily basis) backs this up, the drivers of these brands-especially the German makes-are horrible drivers. Unlike operators of your run-of-the-mill Toyota Prius, Corolla or Camry-who's drivers are more like traffic control devices, not really dangerous, but devastatingly slow-the owners of the higher priced makes just cannot drive!!!

I agree: "the owners of the higher priced makes just cannot drive!!!"

I am constantly stunned by people who will spend $75K for some fast car but not a few thousand to go to a driving school and know how to drive it competently.

I had tremendous fun at the track once with a V6 automatic Mustang that went around the track faster than drivers in faster cars all because they are idiots who bought more than they could drive.

Owner's of expensive vehicles drive like they are entitled and the laws of physics and traffic don't apply to them (just like in their personal and business lives)
