A Year Later Lexus No Haggle Program Still Struggling To Gain A Foothold With Dealers
A year into the Lexus Plus no-haggle pricing program, the expected waves of dealers joining are only ripples. But brand executives say a slow and steady pace has its benefits.

“Not only are dealers learning in this process, we too as a manufacturer are learning how to better support them in this transition,” said Greg Kitzens, Lexus general manager of future initiatives.

Rather than having a dozen dealerships going through extensive training at the same time, Kitzens said, “now when you’re ready to go, we’re ready to launch you.”

This is such a bone headed initiative. This only works if all dealers are no haggle, otherwise the vast majority of customers will find out the no haggle price and call around and find someone else who will beat that price.

Consumers are smart enough to know that "no haggle" pricing benefits only the car dealer/company. People like to think they are getting the best deal. This no-haggle bullshit goes totally against that idea.

No haggle dealing worked for Saturn right? Never mind.

All dealers are "no haggle" there is a list price. Pay it. Boom! No haggle.

The ONLY reason people hate haggling is because they are not clear with THEMSELVES as to what they can afford and what they need on their trade in BEFORE going to the dealer.

The numbers either work or they don't and if they don't, WALK.

Lazy bastards who cannot be bothered to think first deserve to get taken to the cleaners.
