BMW Says M8 Is Already In Development Alongside Of New 8-Series
There are great times ahead for fans of the Bavarian automaker, if we judge solely on the spectacular 8 Series Coupe or the fact that its high-performance version is being developed in “in parallel” with the standard 8 Series. M GmbH is already hard at work teasing us about the arrival of the M8, and more so, the photos of the camouflaged car have been accompanied with details of the arrival of not one, but two M8 versions, with the addition of the GTE variant. The camouflaged prototypes are all we have to go on for now, but they do seem keen on upholding the styling of the 8 Series concept, and of course taking into consideration they will also feature all the enhancements we’d come to expect from an M model.

The face looks like a smug mug caricature you'd expect from the movie "Cars".

BMW really has moved towards excessively stylized, arguably goofy-looking designs in recent years.

I still think it will be a slab sides dumb downed version of the concept.

It'll be slower than the next RS5, or R8 which this is posed to compete against.

The shape, lights, interior, and the wheels already looks boring. It's dead on arrival!

It's a wrong move by BMW. They need to come out with smaller, cheaper, more entry-level cars. That's how you beat Mercedes and become the world's number one luxury brand. Not by moving upmarket!

Or go in the opposite direction and build a halo car similar to what the M1 would've been if they had the balls to release it.

I'm amazed that dpalmo takes time away from driving his Audi A3 to grace us with his posts.

Don't you wish he'd drive his A3 into wet cement?
