Sorry, it strongly resembles Lexus styling. Not very original.

What's the point of developing a low volume platform that shares with no other car on market, with very little profit margins? Besides, who truly remembers what a S2000 is anymore, besides "JDM enthusiast"?

Miata is at least shared with Fiat. Porsche can basically get away with anything they do. Even Audi wouldn't jump into a money losing project like this S2000.

Looks like the S2000 will be finished before it even begins.

True statement: "Besides, who truly remembers what a S2000 is anymore, besides "JDM enthusiast"?"

The hype around the S2000 is largely undeserved.

Most who "love" them have never driven one. It extract the power, you have to rev the living hell out of the engine. A V6 would have been a better choice.

As for handling, it wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't brilliant either.

I still see a surprising number of the original S2000s on the road around here.

All owned by JDM idiots who get their girlfriends pregnant over and over again because spending money on condoms means less JC Whitney plastic for their NOS rockets.
