They Might Want To Fix This - 2019 A7 Prototype Goes Up In Flames During Towing Stress Test

Audi’s engineers were testing a prototype of the 2019 A7 in the Austrian Alps, when suddenly the car caught fire in front of our spy’s camera.

Apparently this Audi A7 mule suffered from some sort of catastrophic failure while pulling a dead weight trailer up the Alps and flames started shooting from between the hood and the windshield.

It's called a prototype for a reason. Besides, I'm sure it probably happens just as often or more often at Mercedes or BMW, with their innately inferior reliability reports compared to Audi. Sadly, Mercedes aren't bulletproof anymore like the Mercedes of yore.

Yeah don't forget Mercedes-Benz on March 2017 recalled ONE MILLION newer cars and SUVs (300K in the US alone), and guess due to what ? FIRE !!

According to article (link below) there were 51 fires reported. I guess those fires were not spectacular enough for the MB loyalists to raise concern.
