When you begin with sales in the toilet and then add a compact along with fire-sale pricing on the rest of the line, magic can happen.

It's easy to achieve substantial growth after hitting rock-bottom, much like other third tier Luxury brands such as Cadillac and Volvo. However, once they slowly reintroduce new models to compete with top tier luxury brands such as Audi, this rapid growth will simply stop.

The main reason for this growth is the introduction of the QX30. While it seems to hit the ground running (at least in NA), sales appear to have normalized to less than 1000 units per month. Same with the Q60. So, while the growth appears promising, the next quarter will flesh out the truth.
And this "new" Q50 isn't much more than a few cosmetic tweaks and maybe some re-engineered parts. It won't have much of an impact on sales.
