Dodge Goes Widebody On The Challenger Hellcat - Does It Go Far Enough?
After going berserk on us with the Demon, it’s time the tides settle down a bit – but not by much, because the latest upgrade has to do with the arrival of the 2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat SRT with a widebody. This is of course how the limited-run Demon is trickling down to “lesser” versions and the company makes sure anyone looking for some of the gusto can have at least part of the experience. The new drag-racing-inspired muscle car’s widebody kit has been adapted for the Hellcat SRT – larger flares add 3.5 inches (8.9 centimeters) to the Challenger’s width and allow for the fitment of a set of 20-inch split-spoke wheels. These come shod in 305/35 Pirelli P-Zero tires.

My question is how played out can the Challenger get? It's coming up on being a decade old without any updates. The freshening is indistinguishable. How many powerful engines and plastic flare editions can they squeeze out. Will there be a Lucifer edition?
