The Day Agent 00R Has Been Waiting For — Delivery Day For His 2017 BMW M2

It's not every day that you are able to take delivery of an all-new vehicle. Today just so happens to be my lucky day.

That's because the wait is over.

BMW M2

It's been quite some time since I put my $1,000 down and pulled the trigger on a 2017 M2 order. But as of today around 1:00 p.m. ET I will be the proud owner of an all-new M2. Special thanks to BMW of Manhattan for working with me on the deal and, more importantly, Manny Antunes who took care of me throughout the process.

Personally, I believe it's a no brainer to work with BMW of Manhattan as it is a BMWNA-affiliated dealer, which means it is not a franchise. If you're looking for priority 1 options or BMW Individual orders, this is the place to come to. It's like Rye Playland, just in Manhattan.

Congrats on an awesome car!
Not to be hating on a wonderful piece of machinery but it seems like the clearance between the body and tires is huge for a sporty car, especially a BMW. I just looked at stock photos of the M3 and M4 and those both have nearly no gap.

But what about that DUMP of a dealership. How can BMW NA demand "Future Retail" compliance from all the franchised dealers only to have GREEN peeling paint and Cracked cement floors in the shop. All Franchised dealers have to have CLinker tile floors at a HUGE expense to install and perfectly painted white walls. That dump of a shop would fail every single audit BMW NA uses as a way to keep trading margin for the company, do they hold their own stores to a lower standard than the dealers that pay huge sums to comply with outrageously expensive requirements? Outrageous, nice car but a complete example of BMW NA and AG hippocrates at work. GO to a franchised dealer if you want proper treatment... BMW should be sued for this hippocratic twist for the demands on their dealers and not themselves. DO as I say not as I do is not legal.

I have had two press vehicles so the ride is exactly as I expected. But, the M Performance Exhaust makes a HUGE difference in my appreciation for the vehicle.

Where I was skeptical before now I am completely smitten.
