CONFIRMED, Hell Is Freezing Over: Ferrari 4 Door SUV Due In 2021
The long-rumoured Ferrari SUV is still on the cards, according to auto analyst Max Warburton, who claims the future model is being called an FUV (Ferrari Utility Vehicle) and does not have visible rear doors.

Last month, Ferrari’s commercial boss Enrico Galliera told Autocar: “We are not producing an SUV, because an SUV is not a sports car – it can be fast, but it’s not a sports car. We are not producing a four-door, because while a four-door can be fast it’s not a sports car.”

If they can green light something as unattractive as the FF/GT4 then they can build a FUV. Fake rear doors that are still there notwithstanding. And it will sell like hotcakes to the wealthy.

FCA should save the development dollars and just rebrand the Alfa Stelvio as a Ferrari and cancel the Stelvio. Ferrari would probably sell just as many, if not more, at a price 3x that of the Stelvio.

Since "hell" is a religious belief - then I won't hold my breath for a Ferrari suv - for a different reason - EVEN IF they produce one - It would still be in limited numbers (AS Ferrari has said about all its cars) - and at a price that only the very richest in the world would afford - and would be made available to only a select few - who are unlikely to use the 4x4 in their air-conditioned garages.

In 2006 Porsche had the Cayenne Turbo S with 520 hp, the second most powerful car in Porsche lineup behind only the Carrera GT. It was the quickest and fastest SUV at the time. The current Cayenne Turbo S with 570 hp can do 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, and with top speed of 176 mph it is still the king of all SUVs.

Lamborghini has the Urus coming out in 2019. It is based on the same platform as the Cayenne but will be lighter with even stronger engine so the numbers will be very interesting.

Ferrari can't sit still watching these SUVs dance. The question is what took Ferrari so long ?

Great for stock price. To get my 12 year old grandson who digs cars to understand that wealth is built thru equity ownership over time I bought him 20 shares of Ferrari at $50 a share or $1,000 worth for his birthday 18 months ago. Stock broke $95 a share yesterday. He may not own a Ferrari but he owns Ferrari!
