i think the z9 looks nice

I don't know about the rest of you but if this is the new Z9, then I feel a little let down. The Z8 had instant collectability written all over it. I've dealt in classic and collectable cars for over 10 yrs as a hobby and as a career. There are not many modern day automobiles you can look to and say "that's going to be worth something someday". The Z8 was one of those rare exceptions. I'm sure the Z9 will perform extremely well and sell well but it lacks character, uniqueness, and the overwhelming styling flair of the Z8. The Z8 was a rolling piece of art with little details everywhere that appeared almost as jewelry in the design. If you are one of the lucky few that own an Alpina Edition, please take care of it. Someday you will be glad you did.

Couldnt agree more. The Z8 was a beautiful car. I loved that it stood out from the rest of the lineup, as a car in that class should. It was a real masterpiece. This lacks the special something. It looks like it could be the next gen Z4 coupe.

let's keep in mind that these are artist renderings of the "direction that BMW is believed to be taking" with the z9...there are a lot of "ifs" in that statement. I say we wait for photos.

I think the initial photoshop release is beautiful, but we'll see how close it is to the actual car.

i hope it looks better than this, the front styling looks too basic, i prefrer the looks of Z8, 8 series, and 6 series

you're right about one thing, I did go to public school...and when i took my SATs (8 years ago) I did good enough to get learned at a hunky dory university, and gets meselfs a job and i must've really got lucky cause now they're trying to give me this thingy called an MBA? i don't know what it is, but it sure sounds lovely...

This is ugly, If Bimmers ever get there exterior and interior better (Like Mercedes), coupled with thier world class performance, they will have the best cars in the market..This is definitly not the step in the right direction..

I dont know, I find the Bimmers interiors...raw..I have been inside an M5 several times, and it is no where as nice as my CLS..Serious BMW has an extremely pale interior..Now for the exterior, a realise its subjective, but I cant help but think Bimmer models have the worst designs, especially compared to Mercedes line-up..Just my opinion..
