2007 Turbo Pontiac Solstice GXP: Boosting in Germany

2007 Turbo Pontiac Solstice GXP: Boosting in Germany
Spotted by photographers making hot laps at the Nürburgring, the all new Pontiac Solstice turbo, which has an extra 60 horsepower on tap, showed signs of new body work to allow better breathing for the turbo. Specially shaped fog light housings create an air duct to direct cooler air under the hood.

With its light weight, the normally aspirated Solstice is no slouch, but adding 60 hp to the 2.0 liter Ecotec engine will surely make it a thrilling Sunday drive. Expect suspension changes to match the added horsepower. The GXP package adds about $5,000 to the base MSRP

The normally aspirated solstice uses a 2.4, without a turbo the 2.0 wouldn't come close to the stock solstice's 200 hp

I just wish GM would make a hardtop version of solstice/sky.
