Where Does Mercedes-Fit In With The EV Generation?

Mercedes doesn't have to "fit in" when Mercedes does an EV, buyers will "fit in" to Mercedes. The only reason to buy a Tesla is because it's electric. People won't buy a Mercedes EV because it's electric, but because it's a Mercedes.

There's an "EV Generation?" Where? I see EVs are a tiny niche.

Agree with both TheSteve and Matt. Ev's will not become useful beyonda tiny niche UNTIL they have a way for people who do not own a home or parking space to charge the cars. It is not the number of cars available - it is the LACK of Infrastructure that will limit the EV sales.

And Matt gets it -- It took 100 years of production to build the reputation that Mercedes has - and Rolls and Bentley and others- a startup simply cannot attain that level- for decades to come.
