NASCAR’s Car of Tomorrow not liked by drivers
Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth declared themselves not happy with the Car of Tomorrow NASCAR intends to use starting 2007.

“I’ll admit, I’m not a big fan of the Car of Tomorrow,” said Jeff Gordon. “I think there’s some technology in there that’s good. Certainly safety-wise, I think there’s some things that I like.”

A goofy car for a goofy "sport". I wish they would just ban it honestly. Most miserable thing to watch, period.

Seriously, living in the US where it seems Nascar is everywhere, I can seriously say that nascar is ridiculous. F1 or rally racing is the way to go. More refined and much more skill required.

I am not a fan of Nascar, but they need to just leave the cars as they where. They are racecar drivers for a reason. The Nascar association, or whatever it is called, should stop putting all these safety rules in line.

and just let the drivers use their skills instead of car using its own skill.

Neautral,
Before you go bl bl blaing about something you know nothing about you should go check it out first. I will agree that watching it on TV can be boring unless it is on a road track but you need to go see one of these races in person. Trust me you will be impressed. I have been to many different types of races including F1 and believe me when i say that when you are there in person and you are looking at the "real" technology and horsepower you think different.
As far as the future car let me say IT FRIEKEN SUCKS!. Whatever happened to "win on Sunday, sell on Monday" Now Nascar just says "I love money". Dale E is turning over in his grave. God bless him.

I agree with Steve...I love watching racing in any form (stock car,F1, rally, modified, super modified, etc.) and when you see these "goofs" racing the pants off these cars, you realize that these guys have a lot of skill and could probably outrace you in their '92 Taurus with you in your M5 around any track in the world.
