California Green House Gases Rise Because People Are Now Driving More
California is known for being among the most restrictive states when it comes to legally modifying cars. Their emission requirements are much more strict than other states'—except for those parts of the Union that have adopted California's standards for themselves. Yet despite their efforts, pollution from on-road vehicles actually increased 3.1 percent between 2014 and 2015, according to a report published by Next 10. Though overall greenhouse gas emissions levels are slowly dropping, they are being offset by the increase in vehicle emissions, which accounts for 38.5 percent of all emissions in California.

Impossible. Humans cannot impact atmospheric conditions.

California's Church of Global Warming will not be satisfied until the state is completely ruined economically. Greenhouse gasses are hysteria and bullsh!t.

Actually - this is TESLA's fault. SO many people in California are Driving Teslas - and so many Electric Plants are on the coast - so the prevailing winds are sending the pollution inland. What they need to do is build more Electric Plants (and other manufacturing plants) on the other side of the Mountains = where the pollution will not end up in the Coastal towns- and UTAH can have them. ANd of course BAN - Electric Vehicles from coastal towns.

Actually MD, the state of California is thriving. It leads the nation in economic growth, has the toughest environmental regulations, real taxes to sustain social programs and a growing population and robust job market. Sticks and stones bounce of the rock solid wall of facts in this case.

@canadiancomments Actually there are two Californias. The large coastal metro areas are thriving teeming with wealthy techies and financial folks. The rules and regulations they pass and can afford are driving the rest of the state into poverty. Its a microcosm of the USA. Fortunately for the USA in general, the electoral college protects the small states from being totally overrun by the coastal cities.

Exactly. I personally will not be satisfied until local rivers catch on fire and the air is a constant, thick, dark brown.

Well if the 'Land Of Fruits And Nuts' led by the likes of Moonbeam, Pelosi and the Criminal Feinstein keep it up, the population should (logically-but then again consider where it is we are talking about) fall and help out.
