VW Lawyers Do A Hillary - All Phones In DieselGate Scandal Either Lost Or Wiped Clean

Volkswagen AG's top U.S. lawyer and the leader of its emissions-testing lab in California are among the employees whose mobile devices were either lost or erased as the company's diesel cheating scandal emerged, according to court records made public on Thursday.

David Geanacopoulos, VW Group of America's senior vice president for public affairs and public policy, reported he lost his phone while en route to Los Angeles International Airport on Dec. 1, 2015, according to the records. He was VW of America's general counsel at the time.

I'll bet they get harsher punishment than the Shrill One received. Especially from the media.

23 mobile phones, belonging to people directly related to the Dieselgate investigation, were coincidentally erased or allegedly lost in the months shortly after the investigation started. Recent reports state that VW insists there is "no proof of wrongdoing."[1]

At the risk of overstating the obvious and invoking Godwin's Law, these circumstances strongly resemble the Nazi's mass document destruction near the end of WWII as the allies closed in on them.

____
[1] This is technically true. VW is not saying "there was no wrongdoing." They're saying "you haven't *proven* it." Draw your own conclusions.

I really object vehemently to the political reference to a specific person in the title of this thread - As if the person named was the first person who erased all their personal messages - many routinely do this to save disk space when the personal messages are not needed - when this ignores Nixon's gap in the tape - or a politician under investigation who claims complete right to pardon at any time. Of course there is no evidence of wrongdoing - BUT - at least in the case mentioned - a complete FBI investigation AND several congressional investigations - also knowing that many of actual e-mails did get found on the servers and personal computers of others - and yet - the FBI decided there was NO case - COngress also did not charge Mrs. Clinton. . Not true with Nixon - and as far as the current President - we already KNOW he has tried to obstruct justice since he admitted it on TV - yet with a republican congress - they have not charged him either.

All this is politics.

This is not a political site yet the moderators seem to add in such comments when political infighting calms down to prolong the nonsense.

Well said Tom, people also conveniently forget how many emails and how much information George W. Bush and his team erased and deleted before he left office for whatever reason.

More Jack Daniels-fueled BS from TomM. Yeah Killary is innocent. I love how when it comes to Democrats TomM finds virtue and extends one suspension of common sense after another, but that is just endemic of his Socialist-Fascist Liberal amorality.

We are now hearing that (1) the FBI under Comey exonerated Clinton, but then he contradicted himself while giving testimony and finally we are now learning that--because he believed Hillary would win the presidency--he lied to the American people and tried to put in the fix.

When people like you who do not have the intelligence to debate an issue get bitch slapped, you resort to attacking the messenger.
