Best Shots Yet Of The 2018 Wrangler - Are You Getting Excited Yet?

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler has been a huge topic for nearly a year now and production is quickly approaching. Through a series of articles on The Drive you probably already know a lot about the heavily anticipated vehicle, accept you haven't had the opportunity to get a clear picture of it.

Although the pictures below feature a 2018 Wrangler still rocking camo, it is by far the closest we have gotten to a naked version of the vehicle. The camo on the vehicle is just film so you can get an accurate idea of the lines and dimensions without leaving too much to the imagination. It looks like a jeep - did you expect something exciting? Why would anyone get delirious over the same styling over and over again?

FCA did the same thing the last time they "refreshed" the Chrysler 300 - they didn't change much. Maybe in hindsight - with cars not selling - that was the cheap way out - but - in my days - Chrysler was at least a Buick/Volvo/Lexus/Infiniti/Mercury/Oldsmobile/Audi Near Premium competitor. FCA has taken that - and simply ruined it.

What I fear most is Fiat quality and engineering in the new Wrangler.

Some of their engineering technology has been pretty impressive especially with regards small engines. The multiJet, MultiAir tech made great leaps ahead in emissions while retaining good power and drivability.

Heroin addiction is bad. That can be the ONLY explanation for anyone thinking Fiat has ANY expertise in engines. Most people find the Fiat engines ruining FCA products to be rather terrible.
