The State Government should mandate closing all business that are not selling products needed for storm preparation/food/medication etc. People driving around shopping for cars as well as other non necessary items add traffic to roads making it more difficult for others to evacuate.
Yes the car dealers lose a selling week, but I am sure they will more than make up for this with all the flooded vehicles that will have to be replaced. Also, the vast majority of people who would have bought a car today will buy one next week instead if they can't insure the vehicle today.
