Hybrids have been available for a while- there is only so many people who are willing to live with the current Trade-offs. I am sure Matt would not drive a Hybrid TVR that had a CVT in it.

WE still do not know how large the market for EVS will become and it will be many decades before the infrastructure becomes available for them - today it can take 20 years in the USA just to get the proper permits to build a new Electric pLant - those who think EVS will take over before quickly forget how slow the changes can be made .

And the longer the infrastructure for EVs takes to accomplish - the more likely OTHER technologies will be developed as well. I note none of those manufacturers have stated that they will discontinue ICE development as well.
