There’s a new Tesla sedan on the horizon, and even though buyers seem confused about where it slots in the lineup, Tesla clearly wants to put some distance between the new entry level Model 3 and the older but more expensive Model S. I wonder if we will see a consumer-spec Model 3 on the streets of the US in my lifetime?

So they "launched" the Model 3 a few months ago - what does that really mean?

Did they mean to say "we are starting prototype testing now" because that's effectively what they did.

Was traveling west on I80 two weeks ago and saw multiple carriers of Teslas and included Model 3.

Just watch. Someone will say that Tesla is driving around carriers with cars on them to make it look like they are making cars.

Also, I did a factory tour recently (which is awesome, highly recommend it if you're in the area and know an owner)... there is an NDA but I think it is okay if just confirm what has already been said by the company, cars are coming off the line--fact.
