...road runner...but anyhoo...

hadn't fanatics been trying to push Jeep to do a concept like that? Rugged raised wagon a la Subaru Outback or Audi A6 Allroad.

Terrible name aside ("Road-Rover", really?) the concept in the photo looks like a smushed Land Rover Discovery.

I am surprised that Jaguar Land Rover does not seem to have a major presence in China. Bentley, MB, BMW, and Cadillac are all well-established over there - why not Jaguar Land Rover? Is it because JLR has Indian owners?

I'm sure there is a market for a large, 7-seat, MB GLS-sized SUV with a Jaguar badge on it. Jaguar should just do a "soft" version of the LR Discovery with a nicer interior. As long as they do not make it overtly "off-road" it will not cannibalize LR/RR.

All the global growth is said to be in the SUV market...millions of units... but we want to make a luxury sedan and chase a tiny volume in sales (in comparison).

Does squishing the roof down as low as it is in a DB11 make it a car instead of an SUV?
