Ludicris Or Lame? Honda To Debut EV Sport Car At Tokyo Motor Show

Honda will unveil a new electric sports car at the Tokyo motor show, hot on the heels of its electric Urban EV super mini revealed at Frankfurt show last month. 

While the Urban EV has been confirmed for production in 2019, there is no word on when the Sports EV will arrive.

Honda said the sports car concept has “a striking silhouette, friendly face and supple body surfaces” to suit any lifestyle.

All they are doing is showing a concept car - hardly worth much mention until they produce the cars themselves.
We know from Cadillac and others - that most concept cars do not become real ones - and even then - only are similar but not the same as the concept. Example - the Concept Lincoln Continental was far better than the actual product (Please note - Matt - I am talking about the styling). While that does not mean the actual products are not worthwhile - it does show that the concepts are not as close to reality as they once were.
