Honda To Debut Riding Assist-e Self Balancing Motorcycle For Millennials That Have Never Ridden On Two Wheels
At the upcoming 45th Tokyo Motorshow (October 27 to November 5), Honda will introduce their new ‘Riding Assist-e’ self-balancing motorcycle. As the name suggests this motorbike is aimed at motorcyclists who are just starting out and are still getting used to riding on two wheels. To make it easier for the rider, Honda lowered the seat, the center-of-gravity and added self-balancing technology without the use of a gyroscope. Take a look at the video below to see what a difference that makes.

If you can't ride a bike you have no business whatsoever on a motorcycle regardless of driver aids.

Does it at least have a holder for avocado toast for the precious little little snowflakes?

Matt is 100% correct. If the little achievers of Participation Trophies cannot manage a manual transmission, they have ZERO business on a motorcycle.

There is already a DCT and automatic transmission offered on other motorcycles. Even the Honda Africa Twin (Dakar bike) has a DCT offering. Sign of the times. Remember this is a concept bike. If it can fall over on a hill etc, it won't make it past the legal department. Although it would be odd if folks could just sit on their bikes at stop lights as the bike will balance itself. I don't need it to follow me out of the garage but I would likely use that feature too.

sans the balancing hardware...this concept looks like really interesting machine to ride for the daily commutes.
