A Hobbs spin-off movie was highly likely. Yes, the Hobbs/Torretto dynamic was crazy but the introduction of Deckard Shaw now makes a pairing with Hobbs a better bet for a separate line in the FF drama.

I still would like to see the current FF crew be forced to work with or against the Tokyo Drift cast (Lucas Black, Brian Tee, Nathalie Kelley, Shad Moss - at the least) for some wild global adventure.
